In weekdays very chip fix menu and delicious. We had funghi pizza, pasta bolognase, calamari, skin patato and minestrone soup. All of them are amazing considering the price. Icecream not perfect but even you will give it a chance. Thank you!

Our first time at this superb restaurant...and we will be using it on a regular basis...we managed to park right outside the front door and after climbing over a couple of push bikes lying in the doorway we were met by 2 flights of stairs. Not a problem.... There is a chair lift. So all good there.
Staff were great, very polite and friendly. The food...my goodness.. absolutely first class, delicious. well done chef. They also do a Christmas menu which you need to book. We will be doing that. The prices are very competitive...if it was my restaurant you would be paying more..The only thing that let it down was that my plate was not warm or hot ... but I'm a fast eater so it was ok. But next time I will ask for a hot plate.
So if you haven't been to this restaurant you are missing out big time. If top quality food is your thing..this is the place for you.👍

Such a mixed review. The blue cheese mushrooms were one of the best things I've ever had. But the pasta main was watery and tasteless with only 1 veg -mushrooms- mixed in. I used hubby's peppercorn sauce to dip my pasta in. His steak was cooked well and very tasty but his chips were old and obviously reheated. Drinks were wrong and we were charged for them but they did change the bill after stating they needed to check. Staff had coats on ready to leave 30 mins before closing. Only 2 other tables in. It looked so promising but we were disappointed.

Fabulous restaurant with excellent service and value. Spacious and comfortable, there is a 3 course menu at £14.95 which is fantastic value. I don't often give 5 stars for anywhere but this place is worth it.

Great food. Restaurant is upstairs with an off putting entrance and stairwell. Entrance is surrounded by smokers from the adjacent pub on the ground floor. The loud music from the pub unfortunately pervades upstairs. Esp the base bump !!

Specials were great, loved the sea bass, good wine selection and dessert. Antipasti was more meat than I expected, expected artichokes and peppers. Portions were generous and good service. On the whole a good Italian restaurant

We’ve been visiting here for years every time we are up at the caravan. And every time has been great! Food is always great. Service is always 10/10 always look forward to coming here

Excellent food, great service. It was very quiet but it was a Monday night. Entrance downstairs is a bit off putting but don't let it put you off it's well worth a visit. Very reasonably priced too.

If you want good Italian food, please don't come here! Especially, if you are not from England. Bread is hard as a rock, nothing comes with the meal, stuff is untrained and pretty rood. Food is far away from being delightful. Save time and go to dissent place.

The food is cooked to a high quality and the service is friendly.
Only slight gripe would be the cost of specials starting at 10.95.
Similar restaurants in and around the North East are cheaper

Wow! What a hidden gem! Found this by accident as it doesn't look like much from the outside and would have normally kept on walking however, well worth the visit. My starter was from the specials... Mussels and prawns. Actually should have been my main as I couldn't eat that and brought it home because there were sooooo many mussels. My son's pizza was fab. His calamari starter was average but everything else was superb. Really friendly staff, great service. Would definitely recommend!

3 course sunday lunch for £12.95. Fantastic speedy staff and absolutely lush dinner! Had beef and it was gorgeous ended with choc ice cream 😋😋 will defo be back!!

Great find in Newbiggin by the sea. Very nice Italian restaurant above a bar.( stair lidt for those who cant manage the stairs) Food was piping hot, very tasty & very good value for money. Both had differnt pasta dishes & both really enjoyed them. Nice staff, nice decor. Little lacking in atmospher as only 3 tables in use on a Tuesday evening but background music helped. Have booked to return on Saturday. Really lioking forward to it.

This little gem exceeded all of our expectations. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Service was really great even though there was a large party in the restaurant.
Our table had pizza and pasta and we would recommend both.
Shame we don't live near as it would be a regular haunt.

I would highly recommend Due Fratelli, had gorgeous meal here with my partner and children and everything was perfect.
Portions are huge! Prices are so reasonable and the staff are friendly and welcoming.
